Summer Fun
I had a 4 week vacation over the summer, so got to spend time doing fun stuff with Kaira. We also had Jamari come stay with us for a few weeks. Here's some of the fun stuff we did....

We spent a couple days at a friend's camp a couple hours south of town. We had fun fishing, playing with squirt guns, blowing bubbles, and just relaxing & enjoying being away from everything for a bit. Kaira also thought the car washing attachment for the hose was just too cool, and insisted on washing a couple cars...

We decorated & baked cookies...

Reading books... Playing games... Coloring... Going out for ice cream...

We also planted a bunch of flowers and vegetables... and we got to watch them sprout up over the following few days and weeks...

While he was staying with us, Jamari also lost his first tooth! (and his second, a day later)

For my birthday, a friend of mine & I went to a painting class for fun...

I also got the chance to take a short trip over my summer break, and checked out a couple of hospitals while on the road. The highlight for me, though, was some of the great food I found at various restaurants along the way...

And I had my faithful companion as a travel buddy...
